Hello!!!

I have decided that I want to make more online brat buddys. And the best way I thought I could do that was to start blogging. :)

I have loved reading blogs for a long time and they have inspired me to want to have my own. I love the idea of having my own space on the internet to share with other people what I want to say and what I have been doing. This blog is going to be full of happiness, Cher Lloyd and you being able to get to know me.

Most hated childhood shows

Yesterday I done a post on my favourite shows as a child. So today I decided to blog about the shows I hated.

            ♥Dora the explorer

This show use to drive me mad, even as a child. I seriously found it so annoying! I hated that everything could talk. Even gates and houses! And I never learnt any Spanish from watching it.

            ♥Yo Ho Ahoy

We had this show on a video and I hated it! It must be the weirdest, most annoying and strange kids show ever shown. I watched an episode on YouTube the other week to remind myself why I didn't like it and I understood why. 

            ♥Sooty

Most people I knew loved Sooty. I hated it. I hated how he never spoke in English. He just squeaked which I thought was just weird. I can only clearly remember one particular episode where Richard was talking to plants. I didn't like it.

            ♥Monsters Inc

When I was about year 1 at school, my best friend use to love Monsters Inc. I remember she had a Monsters Inc lunch box. I never watched this show at home but I decided that I hated it when we watched it round her house when I went round to play. 

     ♥Scooby Doo

My other best friend use to love Scooby Doo. I don't think I ever went round her house without seeing it on the TV. I remember that we use to argue whether Scooby Doo or LazyTown was better. I still believe LazyTown is the winner.

Favourite childhood shows

So today I thought I'd share with you, my favourite shows I watched as a child.

            ♥Come outside

To be honest, I think everyone loved this show and I defiantly remember it as being the highlight show of my childhood. I never called it come outside though, I always thought it was called Pippin until I was much older and found out it was actually called come outside.

            ♥Bill and Ben

I loved Bill and Ben! It was a show that I could have watched all day, everyday and never got bored of. I remember my brother was never too keen on Bill and Ben which was probably part of the reason I liked to watch it so much-to annoy him!

            ♥Brum

The theme tune use to get on my nerves a little bit and stayed in my head for the rest of the day whenever I watched it but I loved Brum! I mean, who didn't? A little while ago I went on holiday to the Cotsworlds and saw Brum at the car museum place. Not gonna lie, I did kind of feel a little bit emotional when I saw him sat there as all my happy childhood memories suddenly came flooding back into my mind. 

            ♥Tots Tv

OMG!! I LOVED Tots Tv like mad!!! Whenever I am having conversations with friends talking about our favourite childhood tv shows no one else seems to remember tots tv. I can't remember what channel it was on, I thought it was Cbeebies, but I don't know why no one can remember it. Anyway, I loved it!

            ♥Storymakers

I loved it! My favourite story was the blue cow. I think that was everyone's favourite! And I liked Jelly more than Jackson. Jackson use to scare me a little bit to be honest but the Storymakers has to be one of my most favouritist (I think I just made that word up) show ever!!!

            ♥The shiny show

Not many people seem to remember the shiny show either but to me this was the best tv game show to ever exists! I remember always running round the house looking for shiny things to have for my prizes when I realised it was on and always joining in with the show. GIVE YOURSELF A SHINY!!! I loved it!!! And my favourite was the monkey but I can't remember his name.

            ♥The rubbadubbers

I can't really remember the rubbadubbers that much. I remember I liked it and by brother didn't. And I remember that my favourite character was the starfish. That's it.

            ♥SMarteenies

I took me ages to remember the name of this show and ages to find anything on the internet about it but I loved this show like mad!!! This must of been my all time favourite tv show ever! I remember me and my brother use to both love it! Especially the part when Doogy went out in his car and when the lady drew on the screen! This show seriously needs to come back to TV!!!

            ♥ LazyTown

I have SO many childhood memories from this show! SO, SO many! I literally lived for this show! I had about 10 episodes on a video and I use to watch that video on repeat, over and over again! Stephanie was my favourite character! I loved her and I really wanted to be her even though I hated dancing and couldn't sing! I remember crying at the episode that Stephanie was going to leave LazyTown to go to a dance school that was far, far away. I know that makes me sound pretty sad but I actually thought that meant she wasn't going to be in any of the episodes any more. I was really obsessed with this show. If it was still on now I would still watch it!  

          ♥Pablo the little red fox

And finally, Pablo the little red fox. I remembered this show but I could not remember the name of it so I had to ask for help on twitter! haha! But anyway, this was the favourite show to watch before bed! I remember watching it every night and loving it! I did actually watch a few episodes on YouTube after getting the name and I recommend that you do to!! No idea why they stopped this show and started showing rubbish like In the night garden and Waybaloo :\

Little Mix DNA Tour

Yesterday I went to Oxford to see Little Mix live at their first ever UK DNA tour!! I have been a Little Mixer since seeing them on the X Factor in 2011 and had never been to see the live before so I was SO excited!!

We left our house at about 11am so we could spend the day round Oxford. I don't know what time we arrived there but we had lunch at 2pm in the pub opposite the New Theatre, where Little Mix were going to be performing. I spent the whole time we were in there staring out the window at the poster and watching them on the little TV next to it! After eating we went round shops, into museums and wondering around the streets. It was pretty cold though.

We went into the New Theatre at about 6:45pm. I bought a programme and looked over at the other merch they had for sale but didn't get any as it was quite busy! We were sat on the balcony and had a pretty good view.

The support acts were two boy bands called Reconnected and The Mend. Personally, I preferred Reconnected much better and thought they were pretty good!

Little Mix came out at about 8:45. I can't remember what order they sang the songs in but they started with We Are Who We Are and ended with Change your life. I absolutely loved it! They sounded amazing, looked gorgeous and were just all round INCREDIBLE! I had the best night ever, ever, EVER!!! Can't wait for them to do their next tour now, when they will have even more amazing Little Mix songs to sing! I loved the dancing they done and the amount of costume changes and all the staging they had and everything!!!!!! It was the best night ever. I loved it. This paragraph could honestly go on forever explaining how much I loved it. They were FANTASTIC, INCREDIBLE, AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, OUTSTANDING... every positive word there is out there is what they were!

We didn't get back home until after 1am and I was still so excited and my ears were still ringing, I couldn't get to sleep for ages! So today I am having a pj's day. Just relaxing and still trying to get over what such a great time I had yesterday.

   1) My name is Lauren.
   2) I am 14 years old
   3) That means I am in year 10 at school
   4) I am from the UK
   5) I am a massive Cher Brat
   6) I am a massive Little Mixer
   7) I spend most of my evenings sitting in my room on my laptop
   8) I am really shy. Even answering the register at school terrifies me!
   9) I have a pet cat who I love so, so much!!!!! (I love cats!)
   10) I currently have a cold :(
   11) I am a little obsessed with watching YouTube. I have a little selection of favourite YouTubers who I watch everyday!
   12) My favourite lessons at school are English and Science
   13) My worst lesson at school is PE
   14) My dream before I die is to meet Cher Lloyd
   15) I LOVE long car journeys except for when I need the loo
   16) My favourite Cher Lloyd song always changes but is currently behind the music. Or riot. Or WUB.
   17) I have seen Cher live 3 times
   18) I have never seen Little Mix live but am going to see them next week!!!!!!!!
   19) Cher Lloyd followed me on twitter on Christmas eve and I was really excited and went really hyper with happiness!
   20) Perrie from Little Mix tweeted me on 6/7/12 just before I was going to go to sleep and then I couldn't get to sleep because I was so excited that she had tweeted me!!!

Paradox

Today I went on a school science trip to listen to different scientists give presentations. I did kind of think that it would be quite boring to be honest but it was much more interesting than I thought! My favourite part was when one scientist told us lots of paradox. So I thought I'd share some of the one's he told us with you :)

The first one is called the missing dollar paradox. You may have heard this one before as I'd say it is the most famous. Basically, there are three friends who come to stay in a hotel for one night, all sharing the same room. The friends are told that the room will cost them $30 so they split it between them and pay $10 each. They then go to their room and start to unpack when the hotel man realises that he had paid them the wrong amount. The room was only suppose to be $25 dollars. He then goes to the room to pay them back the extra $5 but realises that the $5 can't split equally between the three friends. Instead, he decides to pay them back $1 each (a total of $3) and keep the remaining $2 to himself. So, this means that the friends have paid $9 each for the room (which is a total of $27), plus the $2 which the hotel man kept for himself. But this only adds up to a total of $29. So, what has happened to the missing dollar?   

Other ones I like, which are much more simple than the previous one, are these:

♥Nobody goes in that restaurant, it's too crowded

♥Don't go near the water until you've learnt to swim

Relax...

I was on YouTube earlier today when I found the most amazing, relaxing piano music ever. I honestly heard one song and instantly fell in love. They are all beautiful and I could listen to them all day long.
